1.1.General Instructions

◾.General Terms

  • These terms and conditions govern the issuance of tickets by FlyAden Airlines for its passengers.
  • By purchasing a ticket from FlyAden Airlines, the passenger agrees to comply with these terms.
  • FlyAden Airlines reserves the right to change these terms at any time without prior notice. The current version will be available on the airline’s website.
  • By purchasing a ticket from FlyAden Airlines, the passenger acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.

◾.Purchasing and issuing tickets:

  • The tickets can be purchased through the following channels: company website, authorized agents, contact points, or sales offices.
  • The ticket is valid only for the passenger named on the ticket and is non-transferable and non-assignable.
  • The ticket must be provided upon registration of the arrival with a valid passport with a valid photograph (the valid national identity can be used for local passengers on inland flights).

◾.Wages and payment:

  • The ticket fare includes the base fare, taxes, and any other additional fees.
  • The full amount must be paid at the time of booking.
  • All payments must be made using the approved payment methods as specified by the airline company.
  • Ticket Validity:

The ticket is valid for one full year from the date of purchase, except in some cases where the validity period is pre-determined on the ticket.

  • Prices Changes:

The company reserves the right to adjust ticket prices before the start of travel.

  • Compliance with Regulations:

The use of tickets that are illegal or violate the company’s instructions is prohibited.

  • Booking Modifications:

Fees will be charged for booking modification requests (date changes, rebooking, reissue, refund, cancellation).

  • Modification Period:

Any modifications to the booking must be made within the ticket’s validity period.

◾.Registration on arrival and boarding

  • The passenger must check in within the timeframe specified by the airline, usually [4] hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • Failure to check-in or boarding on time may result in cancellation of the booking and refusal of boarding without a refund. (This suggestion point can be adjusted according to the policy followed by the airline.

◾.Travel Rules:

  • Alcohol and Drugs: It is strictly prohibited to consume or carry alcoholic beverages, drugs or chewing khat on all our flights.

  • Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited on all our flights.

  • Mobile Use: We ask that you turn off your mobile phone during take-off and landing, as it may affect the aircraft’s communication systems.

  • Other electronic devices: It is advisable to turn off any other electronic devices in your possession during takeoff and landing.

    To ensure easy and quick communication, please provide your mobile phone number and email address or WhatsApp account when booking your ticket.

1.2. pregnant women:

  • Pregnancy up to twenty-eighth week:
     Do not require a medical certificate to travel.

  • Pregnancy between 28 and 35 weeks:
    A medical certificate issued by a gynecologist or certified physician is required.

  • Pregnancy after week 35:  Air travel is prohibited, even with a medical certificate.

  •   To obtain a medical fitness certificate:

           It must be issued 7 days or less before the flight date

It must contain:

  • The doctor’s full name.
  • His signature and seal.
  • Contact details.
  • Be in Arabic or English.
  • Addressed to Fly Aden Airlines.
  • It must clearly state that the health condition of the mother and fetus does not preclude air travel..
  • In case of twin pregnancy or other health complications, the airline may require additional medical documents or certificates regardless of the stage of pregnancy

Recommendations and Guidelines:

  • Pregnant women are advised to wear comfortable clothing and drink plenty of water during the flight.
  • Avoid prolonged periods of sitting without movement, and pregnant women are encouraged to move around the aircraft regularly to prevent blood clots.

1.3. Unaccompanied under aged children

  • The airline does not allow children to travel alone as minors without an accompanying adult.

1.4.Infants:

  • The passenger is not allowed to accompany more than one infant.
  • The passenger is only permitted to accompany one infant on the flight.

1.5.Passenger with disabilities:

  • Advance Notification: Passengers with disabilities are advised to inform the airline of their specific needs at the time of booking or as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the flight.
  • Designated seats: A passenger with a disability can request a dedicated seat near the exits or in certain areas to facilitate their movement.
  • Transportation of Assistant Devices : Personal Assistant devices such as wheelchairs, crutches, and walkers can be transported free of charge, provided if devices are reported in advance.

1.6 Pet transportation:

  • Permits and Documents: Passengers wishing to transport their pets must obtain the necessary permits and provide the required documents, such as health certificates and vaccination records.

  • Suitable Containers: Pets must be transported in appropriate, airline-approved containers that ensure the animal’s comfort and safety during the flight.

    Weight Limits: Pets are subject to the airline’s specified weight and size limits, and passengers must verify the requirements for each flight.

    Fees: Additional fees may be charged for transporting pets, and these fees must be paid at the time of booking.

  • Cabin Presence: Small pets may be allowed in the cabin if they are in suitable containers that comply with the permitted dimensions and weight, provided they do not disturb other passengers.

  • Health Guidelines: Pets must be in good health, and the airline does not permit the transportation of sick or pregnant animals

  • .Prohibited Animals: The airline may prohibit the transport of certain animal species for health or safety reasons, and passengers should check with the airline before booking.

1.7.Luggage

1.7.1 ◾Free weight allowed

⚬ Adult Passenger: 20 kg for inland flights and 25 to 30 kg for international flights.
⚬ Child: 20 kg for inland flights and 25 to 30 kg for international flights.
⚬ Infant: Nothing

1.7.2 ◾Excess Baggage :
✈︎ Fees will be charged for baggage that exceeds the allowed weight
1.7.3 ◾Carry-on Baggage:

✈︎ One piece of carry-on baggage is allowed, not exceeding 7 kg in weight and 22 x 14 x 9 inches in size.

1.7.4 ◾Items Prohibited in the  plane cabin
✈︎ For safety reasons, the following items are prohibited in the plane cabin:
  • Sharp/pointed objects
  • Explosives and flammable materials
  • Scissors and other sharp objects
  • Hair sprays, perfumes, and medicines that contains alcohol amount in which exceed 0.5 kg/liter for each substance and 0.2 kg/liter for the total weight.
  • Any other materials that may be considered security-sensitive under the local law, or are prohibited in the countries being traveled from or to.
1.7.5 ◾Items to be carried in the plane cabin
  • Jewelry and valuables : It is recommended to carry them with you in the plane cabin
  • Medications (bring prescription) :You must bring a prescription with you
  • Electronic devices (turn off during takeoff and landing): They must be turned off during takeoff and landing.
  • Travel documents: Make sure to bring them with you in the plane cabin.
  • Cash and Bank Cards
  • Money and bank cards
  • Important papers and IDs

 

◾ Essentials for Traveling with Children:

  • Baby supplies like diapers, special food, and medications
  • Small toys to keep children occupied during the flight

◾1.7.6. Dangerous Baggage:

In accordance with civil aviation regulations regarding dangerous baggage, the following items are strictly prohibited from being carried by passengers either in their checked baggage or carry-on luggage:

  1. Hand baggage and attached bags with security systems and equipped with alarm devices or batteries containing lithium or flammable materials.
  2. Explosives, ammunition, fireworks, and flares.
  3. Gases (flammable/non-flammable/highly refrigerated/toxic) such as cooking gas.
  4. Radioactive materials
  5. Corrosive materials (such as mercury, acids, alkalis, and liquid batteries).
  6. Magnetized materials.
  7. Oxidizing materials (such as bleaching powder and peroxides).
  8. Flammable liquids such as: Lighter fuel
  9. Paints and paint thinners
  10. Flammable solids such as matches and other easily ignitable materials, spontaneously combustible materials, and materials that emit flammable gases upon contact with water.                                      

 

1.5.6. Permitted Baggage:

  • One piece of cabin baggage per passenger is allowed, with a maximum weight of 7 kg and dimensions not exceeding 22 x 14 x 9 inches.
  • Due to limited space, two pieces of registered luggage per passenger are allowed, with a maximum weight of 30 kg each.
  • Infants who do not hold a seat are not entitled to any free baggage.

1.8. Transit passenger:

  1. If the passenger’s journey includes a final destination other than the destination country, this must be indicated in the booking document and the company’s staff at the departure and arrival stations must be notified.

  2. Transit passengers departing or arriving on other flights after the destination station must declare their bookings on our airline and the other airline during check-in at the departure station.

  3. Departing transit passengers must collect their baggage upon arrival and then proceed with travel procedures on the other airline.

  4. In case of lost luggage,  the company’s staff or their agents must be notified upon arrival and before leaving the airport, and fill out the relevant form.

  5. Transit passengers arriving from another carrier and arriving on our company’s airline to Yemen must declare their bookings on our airline and bring all luggage from the other carrier, and in the case of delayed luggage, they must notify the other carrier and our company’s staff and fill out the relevant form. The delayed luggage will be accepted upon receipt from the other carrier, and any excess weight charges will be collected if the delayed luggage exceeds the allowed weight.

1.9. Flight schedules and delays:

  • The airline aims to maintain on-time performance, and will make every effort to provide regular updates on the status of flights, but cannot guarantee the accuracy of  flight schedules.

  • The airline is not responsible for damages resulting from delays or cancellations.

1.9. Behavior and safety:

◾The passenger must comply with all safety instructions and regulations during the flight.

◾The airline have the right to refuse to serve or allow passengers boarding who show disturbing behavior or pose a safety risk.

 

    General Notes:

  • The passenger should review the cancellation and change policy and read the terms and conditions of the ticket issuance carefully before purchasing their ticket, to ensure they understand their rights and obligations.
  • Please be sure to review the airline’s travel rules and conditions before travelling.
